Instructions For Starting your New Account Once you have purchased your gift card:

 

How to Open Free U.S. iTunes Store Account without an American Credit Card:

When a U.S. iTunes gift card is used at the time of registering an account then no US credit card is required.  If you already have a U.S. iTunes account you may simply log in and click ‘redeem’ to use your new gift card.

Follow these Simple Steps:

(If you do not already have iTunes, download it for free at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/)

1. Open iTunes

2. Click on "iTunes Store" from the column on the left of the program.

3. At the very bottom of the page you will either set your store to "United States" or you will select "Change Country" under the Manage Heading and then select "United States."

4. Click "Redeem" on the bottom of the page or along the navigation column on either the right or left of the page.

5. Paste the code in (taken from the digital scan of your card in your email) and click "Redeem."

6. A sign-in request will pop up, and click "Create Account".

7. On the following page check the box stating that you have read the Terms and Conditions and agree to them and then click "Continue."

8. Enter your e-mail address (which will be your user ID for iTunes), a password of your choosing, a security question and answer, and your date of birth.  Uncheck the boxes at the bottom if you do not wish to receive e-mail notifications or deals and then click "Continue."

9. When asked for a payment option check the option that says "none" on the right.

10. You will be asked to fill out your name, U.S. postal address, and phone number. If you do not have a U.S. address and phone number or simply wish to protect your privacy, just put in a random address (we recommend using either California or New York as they don't impose taxes on digital downloads.  Also remember the city and zip code must match).  Click "Continue" when finished.
